FWEE STEM Career Academies, Applications Open!
Applications are now open for the three Foundation for Water & Energy Education (FWEE) STEM Career Academies this summer! Hosted for students in three locations this year, the academies are open to middle and high school students in Centralia, Tri-Cities, and Wenatchee. Dive into the world of innovation and explore exciting career opportunities in hydropower, engineering, and renewable energy.
Academy activities are location specific but include:
Tour a hydropower facility
Build and test your own hydropower model
Connect with industry experts- engineers, plant operators, GIS analysts, and more
Climb a power pole
Try out VR headsets
Career pathway mapping
Southwest WA Hydropower & STEM Career Academy:

Tri-Cities STEM Career Academy:
