Let's talk about how Washington is transforming its workforce.

Business, industry, educators and organized labor all share a common goal of creating a thriving equitable and highly competitive workforce in Washington State.

However, achieving this goal requires collaboration and partnership among these diverse stakeholders.

Washington State Centers of Excellence are vital connectors and liaisons bridging the gap between these partners in pursuit of their shared goals. Centers of Excellence focus on Washington's core industries and are hosted at one of our 34 Community and Technical colleges.

Centers serve as information hubs, collecting and sharing up-to-date knowledge between leading industries and community and technical colleges so programs are always current, and relevant.

Centers also host events, provide labor market data, help identify and address systemwide challenges, connect students and educators with industry professionals and more.

Washington’s Centers of Excellence connect our State leaders, educators, industries and workers - resulting in a highly competitive workforce that excels, not only at the national level but also in the global economy.
